This workshop is offered by World Photography Adventure’s (WPA) 17th workshop at O’Reilly’s will offer you a fantastic 4 days of top field tuition and shoot opportunities, based at the 4 Star quality of O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. WPA have been running this event for over 10 years! This workshop suits photographers of any level, to any interest. We cover theory and offer fantastic practical shoots. Information is offered in a very simple to understand form, this allowing you to try new techniques, on the spot.

ITINERARY TO PHOTO ADVENTURE …

DAY ONE – Thursday, October 10

Join your tutors for an afternoon workshop, starting at 2pm. A chance to ask lots of questions and sort technical and equipment issues. You have three of the worlds leading tutors to help you. Tonight, an exclusive dinner from one of Australia’s leading resorts. (D)

DAY TWO – Friday, October 11

We head out early to shoot in the early light. After breakfast we take a walk to put the previous days theory into practise, using the Wishing Tree Track. Understanding light, your meter and equipment will be the key theme. Your tutors will show you some top techniques. Afternoon workshop looking at visualisation and processing your images. Group dinner and a chance to swap some tall stories. (B,L,D)

DAY THREE – Saturday, October 12

Morans Fall walk – famous for its great artistic opportunities. We depart early and explore the creative options in the forest.

We have lunch back at the lodge.

Afternoon workshop with guru Mark Galer, targeting processing with Lightroom and Photoshop. Mark has written over 27 books on the subject – a world class expert! Group dinner and a chance to swap some tall stories. (B,L,D)

DAY FOUR – Sunday, October 13

A chance for one on one questions with your tutors and to discover how they produce stunning results with their best images. A unique opportunity to get leading edge tips and techniques and ask questions to help you be more creative. We finish with a group show of your favourite 10 images. The event finishes at 11pm.
