With the support of Sony, UNICEF has facilitated EYE SEE child photography workshops in many countries around the world, supporting children’s rights to expression and participation in decisions that affect their lives. In April 2013, UNICEF worked with Amity Community Services, who provided in-community support, to facilitate a workshop with three Darwin-town communities. Fifteen children aged 9-16 years old from Milgarri Community Knuckeys Lagoon, Bagot Community and Gurdorrka Palmerston Indigenous Village, came together to learn how to use images to share their world-view and experience, especially in challenging environments.
