Norfolk Island – the adventure…
I will be joining professional photographer, and experienced adventurer, Darran Leal on Norfolk Island. This is World Photo Adventure’s 6th tour to Norfolk Island. Darran Leal from World Photo Adventures started his photography on the island in 1980, has lived on the island and met/married Julia on the island. So he knows a little bit about ‘paradise’. It offers a wealth of subjects to shoot and is a fantastic location to learn and improve your photography. While the tour caters for all levels, at times we will split the group and I will offer new challenging workshops for the advanced photographer.
Your special holiday package includes most expenses from flights to lovely accommodation. To optimise your experience, we are based in comfortable, self contained accommodation at beautiful Endeavour Lodge (www.endeavour.nf) the perfect base to explore the island in twin share vehicles. We include a few meals, but allow you the flexibility of self catering through to exploring the islands many restaurants. Your guide will suggest a new restaurant each night.
Norfolk is found east in the South Pacific, in a line from central NSW and is a territory of Australia. You do not need a passport. We shoot a very wide range of subjects from seascapes to landscapes, wildlife to macro and stunning creative images. Workshops start at the basics and progress. Your tutor will target specific opportunities but allow quality time also for your questions and for you to explore this stunning island. We finish with a group image presentation and overview of the week.
WHAT CAN I PHOTOGRAPH?
Everything from beautiful landscapes and seascapes to unique nature and fun creative subjects. We cover everything from how to shoot great candid people images in far off countries, to shooting great landscapes, nature and creative subjects. This tour will also offer simple processing techniques through to advanced, in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Importantly, we help all photographers to all levels!
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
We include 7 nights accommodation at a 4 Star lodge – world class photo tuition and meals as per itinerary. We also include twin share vehicles. (Other meals will be suggested from breakfast in your self catered room to local cafe’s. The food is lovely on the island!)
